MCP PROJECTION DOCTRINE (2026 SOTA)¶
The Isomorphic Mapping of Sovereign State
The Governance Plane interacts with subordinate substrates (Storage, Web3 Ledgers, Sensory inputs) strictly through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). In this ecosystem, an MCP server is not a "wrapper" or an "adapter." It is a mathematically rigid epistemic boundary.
You are mathematically forbidden from hardcoding domain schemas, connection strings, or ORM logic directly into the reasoning swarm. You MUST project domain capabilities via a sovereign MCP substrate.
1. The Master MCP (Federated Gateway)¶
coreason-ecosystem hosts the Master MCP. It does not hold domain logic; it acts as a multiplexing JSON-RPC router (Federated Aggregator).
When coreason-runtime connects, the Master MCP projects a unified "Epistemic Discovery Surface" that aggregates all underlying sub-MCPs. It maps mathematical URNs to physical execution IDs within the sovereign VPC:

2. MCP Translation Archetypes (How to Build)¶
When engineering a new capability for the Swarm, you must classify your subsystem into one of the following Archetypes:
Archetype A: Semantic Storage & Data Projections¶
- The Architecture: Raw public data is extracted and run through a proprietary Bronze/Silver/Gold ETL pipeline for semantic standardization outside the runtime. The pristine data is loaded into a sovereign VPC database (Postgres, Neo4j, Milvus).
- The Contract: You build a stateless MCP wrapper over this database. The Swarm uses the MCP to query the data mathematically, completely isolated from direct Vector/SQL queries.
Archetype B: Domain Rules & Tools¶
- The Architecture: Deductive engines (Lean 4, MedSpaCy) or rule sets (OMOP CDM) deployed as containerized sub-MCPs.
- The Contract: The runtime uses the URN routing matrix to find the specific
actionSpaceCIdcontaining the domain rules it needs, executing them blindly.
Archetype C: Sensory & UI Projections¶
- The Architecture: UI constraints are defined as Pydantic models in the manifest and exposed via an MCP.
- The Contract: The LLM predicts logits constrained by this Pydantic schema to output a mathematically valid UI configuration. The MCP receives this geometric payload and physically projects it to the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) socket.
Archetype D: Sovereign State Projections¶
- The Architecture: Mutable state (e.g., Digital Twins, Web3 LMSR Treasuries) violates the stateless ecosystem mandate. It must be maintained in an isolated sandbox or on-chain ledger behind an MCP.
- The Contract: The Swarm mathematically requests state transitions (e.g.,
disburse_funds,perturb_simulation) via the MCP; it does not compute them.
3. Autonomic Capability Discovery & Cryptographic Provenance¶
Agents do not possess configuration files. Upon bootstrap, an agent probes the CapabilityRegistry via standard MCP handshakes.
To maintain absolute cryptographic determinism:
1. OCI Containerization: Sub-MCPs must be packaged as Open Container Initiative (OCI) artifacts.
2. URN Versioning: Versioning must be mathematically encoded (e.g., urn:coreason:oracle:clinical_trials:v2.1.0).
3. Canonical Sealing: The JSON schemas emitted by an MCP's tools/list endpoint must be deterministic. The Master MCP will seal them with an RFC 8785 Canonical Hash to prevent payload hallucination. If an agent requires a capability that is not cryptographically advertised and sealed, the agent MUST self-terminate.
